Shelf Purge: Cat Smash
Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Your progress lives on your device. Shelf Purge does not require an account. The game uses Google AdMob for advertising and Apple or Google for in-app purchases; those services process data as described below.
Who we are
Shelf Purge (be.mountainpeak.shelfpurge) is developed by MountainPeak / Sad Quokka Studios, based in Wevelgem, Belgium. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@mountainpeak.be.
Your game data
Level progress, star ratings, coin balance, unlocked items, settings, purchase entitlements and endless-mode records are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a game account or cloud-save server, and the game does not send your save to us. Your device backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple or Google.
Advertising and Google AdMob
Shelf Purge includes optional rewarded videos and occasional full-screen ads supplied by Google AdMob. Its SDK can collect IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app and ads, and diagnostic and performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The data processed depends on your platform, settings and consent choices.
See Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and Google’s Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures for more information.
Consent and your choices
The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent where required. When available, open Settings → Privacy → Privacy choices to review or change your selection. You can also manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through your device settings. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it through the available privacy controls. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing.
A one-time ad-removal purchase switches off ads in the game.
In-app purchases
Payments are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your card or bank details. The app uses product identifiers, purchase status and transaction identifiers to deliver purchased items, avoid crediting the same transaction twice and restore eligible purchases. Relevant purchase records and entitlements are stored on the device. Apple and Google process store transactions under their own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond to your request and keep them only as needed to handle it and any related obligations. Please avoid sending payment details or other sensitive information.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Local game data remains until removed through your device’s app-storage controls or by deleting the app, subject to your device’s backup and restore behaviour. Deleting local data can erase progress and consumable balances. Store transaction records and data held by advertising providers follow those providers’ retention policies; uninstalling the game does not delete their records.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent. Contact us for requests about information we hold. For data held by Google or Apple, their privacy policies explain the available controls. You can also raise a concern with your local data protection authority, including the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Children
Shelf Purge is not directed primarily at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information directly. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the date above.
